Procon is seeking a BIM Engineer. We are looking for a forward-thinking BIM Engineer who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of digital design and construction. This role requires a strong command of GSA BIM standards, integration with COBie deliverables, and the ability to leverage emerging technologies—such as robotics and automation—to improve design and construction workflows. This role requires various skills and experience as listed below. Requirements Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination, engineering, or consulting. Strong knowledge of GSA BIM guidelines and standards. Proficiency in BIM platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, or equivalent). Familiarity with COBie standards and digital handover practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills. Ability to work independently and in a remote consulting environment. Preferred: COBie certification. Experience with robotics integration, computational design, or digital twin technology. Prior experience with federal projects (GSA, NASA, DoD, or other agencies). Knowledge of automation workflows, AI applications in design, or IoT-enabled construction tools. Responsibilities and Duties Develop and manage BIM execution plans aligned with GSA BIM standards and project-specific requirements. Provide consulting expertise to clients on BIM strategy, technology adoption, and process improvement. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners to streamline workflows and ensure successful project delivery. Implement and manage COBie-certified deliverables, ensuring compliance with federal and industry standards. Explore and apply innovative technologies such as robotics, computational design, and automation tools to improve efficiency. Lead and support remote, multi-disciplinary teams through all phases of project design and construction. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of a full range of digital print equipment, including Ricoh 9210, 8220 and OCE Titan 6180, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced commercial printing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Run all digital imaging devices effectively, including: • Programming the machine to effectively run the jobs presented • Load, unload, and clear jams on the machine to keep it operating • Place service calls when required, and accurately inform the technicians of any issues • Monitor job schedules and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines • Accurately read and follow the specifications of a job ticket • Correctly setup and run equipment to complete jobs from start to finish • Perform maintenance on equipment and place service calls when needed • Perform quality control procedures • Manage daily job ticket entry • Effectively and professionally communicate with personnel from other departments • Multi-task and deal effectively with competing priorities • Maintain a clean and organized work environment • Manage inventory of paper and consumables • Promote the Baesman Values: Can-do Attitude, We Before Me, Go the Extra Mile, Embrace Growth and Change, and Do the Right Thing. • Other duties as assigned Requirements • High school diploma or GED • Minimum of 3-5 years full-time experience in digital print (toner, inkjet, wide format inkjet) • Mechanically inclined/technical aptitude • Proficient in operating various digital equipment • Basic literacy and problem-solving skills • Positive attitude and proactive approach • Attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities • Accurately see/determine color quality and accuracy • Ability to stand for long periods and regularly move/lift up to 50 lbs. Procon is seeking a Construction Inspector for NASA projects, based primarily at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection related to complex aerospace projects. The position requires the candidate to review engineering drawings and specifications, monitor ongoing construction activities, perform inspections, and ensure that all work complies with established quality standards. Requirements Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 5 years of construction inspection experience, preferably within the aerospace or complex engineering environment. Strong comprehension of engineering principles and construction methods. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required. Experience with project management software (e.g., Prolog, Primavera) is a plus. Certifications OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification. Any relevant NASA-specific certifications are a plus. NICET certification in construction inspection is preferred. Specialized training related to aerospace construction and inspections is an advantage. Responsibilities & Duties Inspect roofing and related building envelope systems during all phases of construction, repair, and maintenance at NASA facilities. Review construction documents, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and NASA requirements. Monitor contractor work for compliance with codes, safety regulations, and project schedules. Conduct field inspections and document findings with detailed reports, including photographs and recommendations. Verify installation methods, material quality, and workmanship meet contractual and industry standards (NRCA, ASTM, OSHA, and NASA technical requirements). Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and safety personnel to resolve technical issues. Provide input on corrective actions for deficiencies or non-compliant work. Maintain accurate daily inspection logs and submit progress updates. Support quality assurance/quality control efforts and assist in project closeout inspections.
