Responsibilities: Build a foundation of strong relationships with Infracore teammates and leadership as well as client end users. Manage and administer client’s IT infrastructure, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), service desk, and cybersecurity programs. Serve as the highest escalation point-person for IT challenges to step-in, troubleshoot in support of desktop support and IT specialists, engage IT vendors (e.g., networking, storage, SaaS, cloud vendors) and VARs with confidence and take preventative measures. Help architect and deploy Enterprise projects for storage, network, data back-up, end-point management and mobile device management, while proposing new enhancements and driving solutions using a cloud-first approach. Executes the systems maintenance plan, ensuring repeated tasks such as monitoring backups, patching systems and performing test restores are being handled, while looking for ways to automate and simplify where possible. Champions best practices for cybersecurity, by ensuring best practices including but not limited to MFA, least-privilege access, and Conditional Access are being followed. Foundational understanding of the client’s compliance landscape (whether SOX, HIPAA, CCPA or similar) and be able to speak to these standards, what data is protected, and how it’s controlled. Assists in the technical development of team members by helping to onboard new hires and sharing technical knowledge.
