The schedule for this position is: Monday-Friday 10:00pm-6:30am plus required overtime including rotating Sundays. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs, and may require overtime. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provides leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication. Provides measurable feedback, suggestions for improved performance and recognition for achievements. Conducts interviews, hiring and training as necessary. Supports the safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe working environment for all associates. Assists with process improvement initiatives. Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of policies and procedures. Continually enforces productivity standards. Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots. Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent. QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of related experience Skills and experience sufficient to supervise assistant receivers and helpers Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems Willing to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice Good memory and scanning abilities Good communication and math skills Able to lift up to 65 lbs. with the proper equipment and climb 20 feet on a regular basis Able to learn to use a forklift May require valid drivers license and conformance with company driver policy Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana) DIVISION: U.S. AutoForce U.S. Venture requires that a team member have and maintain authorization to work in the country in which the role is based. Job Summary: Performs routine daily acetylene production and cylinder filling activities. These activities include the operation and monitoring of process equipment, cylinder filling, material handling, and minor equipment maintenance. Follows industry and government guidelines and adhere to all company safety requirements. Duties include:  Perform visual inspection on all cylinders prior to filling.  Weigh all Acetylene cylinders to determine Acetone needs.  Record all residual and stray fulls from cylinders.  Perform hourly plant safety checks.  Refill Carbide hoppers when needed.  Track Carbide usage and inform management when inventory reaches re-order point.  Track Acetone inventory, inform management when inventory reaches re-order point.  Load Lime slurry for disposal.  Recover residual from all “out of test” cylinders prior to sending to re-qualification facility.  Perform PM’s on all associated equipment used for cylinder filling and inspection. As assigned.  Report monthly cylinder totals on approved tracking forms to the production supervisor. Requirements include:  Industry experience such as handling cylinders and/or previous knowledge of gases, Cylinder filling procedures, paperwork and plant operations is preferred.  Able to read and comprehend safety rules and regulations.  Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.  Able to operate a forklift; general knowledge of common hand tools, power tools, and their proper use.  Able to lift/move 70 lbs; able to stand for most of the day, work in outdoor conditions.  Able to work independently.  You must pass drug screen and background check. Salary Range: Expected hiring salary is $23.00/hr - Swing Shift Position. The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $22.00/hr.-$29.50/hr.
