SHIPPING / RECEIVING / INVENTORY Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm or until current task or shipments are gone Starting pay: $22.00 with potential increase after 180 day orientation period complete Job Requirements: • Driver’s license + (not necessary) • Forklift Experience + (will train also) • Ability to read tape measure & knowledge of measurements • Motivated/ self-starter, can keep self-busy, • Ability to multi-task • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. consistently • Must work well with others • Efficient in basic math • General Knowledge of shipping receiving process • Customer service skills Job Responsibilities: • Loading / unloading freight • Checking in receipts/UPS/Fedex and putting them away • Helping customers with orders, signatures and loading them • Putting together loads to be shipped out LTL and UPS with the occasional Flatbed loads, calling LTL’s and arranging pickups. • Shipping out UPS using UPS Worldship • Sweep/clean areas daily – General housekeeping duties daily • Any other task given by supervisor or management • Help other members in work area, or any other tasks set by lead or supervisor BENEFITS Health Care: Medical/Dental/Vision Vacation / Sick Time Holiday Pay 401K (Matching) Life Ins. As a Fire Alarm Foreman, you will lead the installation of fire life safety systems on large commercial projects. Your responsibilities include managing field crews, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and clients, and ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, and to high standards. Work Schedule: Hours may vary. Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed). Your main responsibilities are to: Conduct final inspections Review project documents, and ensure all reporting and billing are accurate. Read the blueprints and installation drawings to direct the scope of work, troubleshoot system issues, and make sure everyone follows company and safety standards. Manage our inventory and vehicle maintenance, onboard new team members, and promote punctuality and consistent attendance within the team. Position Requirements: 5+ years in construction and/or low voltage installation 5+ years installing low voltage in a Commercial environment High school diploma (or equivalent) Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance. Physical Demands & Work Environment: Ability to drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day, daily. Ability to drive, walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations. Work environment may be construction sites, commercial buildings, and multi-tenant properties. FRS Clipper runs a high-speed, passenger-only catamaran ferry with daily service between Seattle, Washington and Victoria, British Columbia, as well as daily Whale & Sea Life Excursions. We operate year-round, with a very busy peak season from April through October. We are located at Pier 69 in Downtown Seattle, along the beautiful Elliott Bay waterfront. We are currently hiring for Dockhands for AM the Am shift - 4:30AM to 3:30PM. AM Dockhands oversee vessel stores delivery (F&B, supplies, etc), assist with guest needs during boarding, luggage handling, light office and restroom janitorial tasks, receiving orders and monthly inventory. We provide workplace-specific training to all employees - working safely on a dock, handling boat lines and using our cranes for luggage loading and unloading.
