Cylinder Maintenance (Pasco)

Job Summary: Prepare cylinders according to established procedures. Ensure that cylinders are prepared and ready for maintenance crew as needed. Duties include: • Valve and de-valve cylinders. • Scrap labels to prepare for regular maintenance. • General maintenance of cylinders. • Maintain a safe and clean work area. • Attend Monthly Safety Meetings. Work according to established safety procedures and promote safety with co-workers. Inform supervisors of potential safety hazards. • Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits. • Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws. Requirements include: • General knowledge of common hand tools, power tools and their proper use. • Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, and good math skills. • Good reading and writing skills. Able to read and comprehend technical manuals and government publications. • Able to work independently. • Able to lift/move 80 lbs. • Work Environment-some outside. • Must pass drug screen and background check. Salary Range: Expected hiring salary is $22.00/hr. for Day Shift and $23.00/hr for Swing Shift. The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $22.00/hr.-$29.50/hr.
