Maintenance Supervisor (Miramar)

Our Client in Miramar is seeking an experienced self-driven Maintenance Supervisor. Typical work schedule is 40 hours, Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm; hours may vary based on business demands. Weekend hours may be scheduled to support our 24/7 operation. May be required to work holidays Reporting to the Facility Maintenance Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for technical support, direction, safety training, audits and quality control for Amentum facility and production maintenance employees in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing large office space(s). The Supervisor completes maintenance operations to the satisfaction of the client, consistent with cost, schedule, and contractual requirements. Plans, coordinates, and supervises routine maintenance activities, special projects, and distributes workload to achieve productivity and quality objectives. Interfaces with the client to ensure customer satisfaction. Minimum Requirements: • High School graduate or demonstrated equivalent. • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. • Ten years of progressively responsible industrial facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. • Must have the ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher. • Valid Driver’s License. • Ability to obtain and maintain a security access badge at our client’s location. • Must be able to work various shifts, alternative work schedules, weekends holidays and overtime when required. • Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. Physical Requirements: • Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding. • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. • Regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift. • Flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, kneel, move in a 90-degree fashion, and stretch repetitively throughout shift. • Some tasks will require the ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday. • Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. • The ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. • Ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access databases, to send/receive messages and to prepare documents including a demonstrated fluency in computer use and Microsoft product line. • The ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. • Ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings, and presentations. • Requires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations. • Basic electrical knowledge, sufficient to change motors, fuses, etc. • Basic pneumatic and hydraulic systems knowledge. • Basic BAS systems knowledge. • Extensive HVAC, plumbing, knowledge. • Requires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other Amentum, customer and/or vendor locations in the area. • Working knowledge of hand and power tools. • $80k -$85k DOE Please call 888-355-9005 for further details along with online application process.
