Job Summary: Position Title: Maintenance Staff Location: Pacific Shores Condominiums, 2219 S. Kihei road, Kihei HI 96753 Job Type: Part-Time, 8-10 hours/week, Saturday and Sunday mornings Reports To: Site Manager A Maintenance Staff member is responsible for the upkeep and repair of the condominium complex, ensuring a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for all residents. This role involves routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and general upkeep of the building’s systems and facilities. Key Responsibilities: • Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the property, including common areas and mechanical systems. Perform routine tasks such as changing light bulbs, tree trimming, pool skimming and vacuuming. • Cleaning: Ensure common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and the pool are kept clean and presentable. Perform cleaning duties and trash removal as required. • Safety: Monitor the property for safety hazards and take corrective action as needed. Ensure all safety protocols are followed. • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment as needed and ensure proper storage. • Documentation: Keep accurate records of pool maintenance routines. • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance situations as required. • Communication: Maintain clear communication with residents, Site Manager, and other staff members. Provide excellent customer service and address resident concerns professionally. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Experience in maintenance or a related field, with a basic knowledge of building systems. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and climbing. Working Conditions: • Saturday and Sunday morning shift (3 - 5 hours), Mainly pool maintenance. • Work is outdoors. • $20 - $25 per hour to start, depending on experience.
