Janitorial Supervisor (Miami Gardens)

Position Title: Custodial/Janitorial Supervisor Work Arrangement: On-site Location: Miami Gardens, FL Duration: Temporary role with potential for full-time conversion Employment Type: Contract role on W-2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. Who we are looking for / Requirements: Required Skills / Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within janitorial services Strong knowledge of cleaning best practices, equipment, and safety protocols Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and make informed decisions High school diploma or equivalent; further education in management or hospitality is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing: Recruit, train, and supervise janitorial staff; develop schedules and assign tasks Conduct team meetings, performance evaluations, and provide feedback for staff development Oversee daily cleaning operations, inspections, and adherence to sanitation and safety standards Develop and implement cleaning protocols and specialized procedures as needed Monitor inventory, procure supplies, and maintain equipment; coordinate with vendors for efficiency Assist with budget management, track expenditures, and maintain records of cleaning activities and staff performance Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; provide safety training and address concerns Serve as primary contact for client feedback, collaborate with facility management, and maintain high customer satisfaction Working conditions: May require working evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on facility hours Requires physical stamina for inspections and training involving manual tasks Expected exposure to cleaning chemicals and procedures Perks of working with us/ What we offer: Health, dental and vision benefits offerings 401K plan Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer.
