Goat Milker / Farm Laborer (3651 Omaopio Rd, Kula)

Aloha! Surfing Goat Dairy, located on the beautiful slopes of Haleakala in Maui's Upcountry, is looking for a dedicated milker to join our 'ohana! We are currently seeking a long-term, reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team! Candidates should be comfortable working with animals, committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and animal care, and capable of performing physical tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Milk goats in a clean, efficient, and humane manner - Maintain a clean and sanitary milking parlor and equipment - Observe and report any health or behavioral concerns with any goats on the farm - Assist with feeding, barn cleaning, and general animal husbandry as needed - Engage with visitors to provide a positive visitor experience Qualifications: - Strong work ethic and reliability - Willingness to work early morning shifts and weekends as scheduled - Ability to work independently and follow established protocols - Previous experience with farm animals or in an agricultural setting preferred, but not required - Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. - A love and appreciation for animals - Good personal skills to provide exceptional customer service What We Offer: - Training and support from experienced staff - Shifts are scheduled between 6 AM and 7 PM Monday through Sunday - Full time or part time; 15 to 40 hours weekly - Pay between $19 - $20 an hour - Health care plan and dental available for full-time positions To apply, please send your resume and a quick intro about yourself and why you're interested to Jay Garnett at jgarnett@whitefishgroup.com.
