Forest workers sought to join a local, professional crew. Chainsaw operators and slash handlers needed. We fall and limb trees, chip and pile burn the branches (slash), generate a lot of firewood, and leave a safer and more open forest condition. All levels of experience considered. Forest thinning reduces the chance of destructive fire, protects wildlife habitat and increases water supplies. Working conditions outside are excellent now, and we have plenty of committed work where the weather is cool, at 9500' elevation. Must live near Taos, have vehicle, a cell phone, sturdy outdoor clothes and a collaborative attitude. We employ an effective approach to the work, honed from 25 years of experience. We do it the easy way, and we have a good time.
