Independent Janitorial Contractor – Multi-Family Properties

Do you take pride in making things spotless, organized, and ready to shine? We’re looking for two dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Contractors to support our residential, multi-family properties—one in Pierce County, one in King County. You’ll be responsible for keeping common areas clean, and making vacant units move-in ready with full turn cleanings. This is a weekday-only role with a consistent schedule. You’ll travel between sites (within your county) and work independently to keep our spaces clean, welcoming, and resident-ready. What You’ll Do Travel to assigned properties and complete daily janitorial duties Clean common areas (lobbies, hallways, offices, laundry rooms, restrooms, etc.) Perform unit turn cleanings, including deep cleans of kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and appliances Communicate with property teams and report issues, damage, or needed maintenance Use Targa-supplied products, tools, and equipment to complete work efficiently Maintain a professional, respectful presence on-site and uphold safety protocols What You’ll Bring Valid business license and bonding (required for 1099 status) Proven janitorial, housekeeping, or property cleaning experience (multi-site preferred) Excellent references and a strong reputation for reliability Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel between properties Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently Ability to lift 30 lbs, bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the day What You’ll Get $30-35/hour flat rate, inclusive of mileage and gas A consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM All cleaning supplies and tools provided Supportive, professional team and clear scheduling Opportunity to build long-term contract work with a reputable property management company Targa’s Promise You’re not just wiping down surfaces—you’re helping create a safe, welcoming space for hundreds of residents.
