Construction - Laborer (Ellicott City)

Specialty contractor seeking motivated individual with a good work ethic. Individual will be performing many forms of manual labor to include: lifting (some heavy), moving materials, loading and unloading products and machinery from vehicles, excavating, refilling holes, and routine ground maintenance tasks. This individual will also be assisting the crew chief with production and provide assistance in an overall team effort. The work is performed outdoors in all types of weather and can include confined spaces with various types of equipment. This individual will be required to stand for long periods of time and be able to operate a variety of simple and complex tools and machinery. THE INDIVIDUAL MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD - AND BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG SCREENING TEST TO OBTAIN NECESSARY GOVERNMENT CLEARANCES. Other requirements include, but are not limited to: - ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. - understand basic measurements in feet and inches - ability to listen and comprehend oral and written instructions accurately to learn the company's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment
