Job description: Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our products are delivered efficiently and safely to our customers while also managing warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in both delivery driving and warehouse environments. Duties: Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Read invoices to pull orders together. Navigate routes effectively and efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules. Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy items. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally. Assist with inventory management in the warehouse, including stock organization and restocking as needed. Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Qualifications: Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, demonstrating reliability and punctuality is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with route driving and logistics is advantageous. Knowledge of operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
