You must have effective organizational and communication skills to work on your fleet and equipment. Looking for a full-time mechanic to service a fleet a 15 trucks and trailers and Bobcats and Cat and small tool. Expectations include anything from monthly maintenance to major repairs. A majority of the work will be completed in the days or evenings and some weekends for maintenance after trucks return from their jobsite, but work is available during the day as well for repairs when a truck is unable to drive and needing repair. MECHANIC JOB DESCRIPTION and REQUIREMENTS: You must have tools and ability to work on all types of trucks and construction equipment. Perform 90-day truck inspections on all types of vehicles. Maintain an organized and neat working environment at all times. Diagnostic skills Electrical Diagnosis/repair Team player. Must be able to multi task. Performs maintenance and repairs on equipment. Assists with cleaning equipment when necessary Disassembles unit and inspects parts for wear. Perform PM maintenance and other require services. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements: Solid Mechanical Skills 2+ years mechanic experience in an automobile / truck repair environment. Small tools repair needed Self-motivated, detailed and organized. Experience locating parts locally and online. Spanish speaking a plus but not required. Exceptional customer service and communication skills (both written and oral). Must read/write in English. Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, highly organized, self-motivated and a team player. Can read schematics. Must be dependable and trustworthy. Clean driving record a plus. Must have resume and references. Excellent communicator and problem solver. MUST BE ABLE TO KEEP A VERY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED WORK ENVIRONMENT! Position Overview We are looking for a dependable Glass Technician to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in showing up on time, working hard, and learning new skills. No prior glass experience is required—training will be provided—but previous experience in construction or glazing is a plus. About the Role Our work spans both commercial and residential glass projects, including aluminum storefront systems, windows, doors, and glass replacements. A successful Glass Technician is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to support the team every day. Key Responsibilities - Take precise measurements in the field (accuracy is critical to project success). - Assist with cutting, assembling, and installing aluminum frames. - Install and replace glass windows, doors, and storefront systems. - Handle and transport glass safely and maintain a clean jobsite. - Support senior technicians and follow project instructions closely. - Arrive on time, ready to work each scheduled day and communicate proactively with the team if any issue arises. Qualifications - Prior experience with glass or window installations is a major plus. No experience is required, but there is a strong preference for candidates who have already worked in the trade. - Reliability and consistent attendance are essential. - Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. - Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (often 50+ lbs). - Comfortable using hand and power tools. - Valid driver’s license preferred. Wage is based on weld test and experience. Pay Range $26-$34. We work Nationwide and our Headquarters is located in Kaysville, UT. This is a full time position where you are eligible for benefits, PTO, Show-up pay, Per diem $700 a week, 401K after 1 yr of service, bonus programs and incentives. We put you to work with a crew and then you move with the crew from job to job. We try to keep you working as much as possible. But it is construction so we only have so much control.
