Gardening and Landscaping Assistant in Boise, Idaho (Winstead Park)

Our family is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to assist with a range of outdoor projects. We are in the process of fully remodeling our garden and transitioning the space into a year-round greenhouse. Core responsibilities will include weeding, landscaping, and general gardening, along with hands-on support for tasks tied directly to the greenhouse build. Candidates with experience in gardening, landscaping, tree care and trimming, and familiarity with excavation tools (shovels, picks, trenching tools, etc.) will be strongly preferred. Duties may also include light labor such as relocating free-standing bricks and removing existing weed barrier. This position begins as a part-time contractual role, focused on an initial project expected to last 2–3 months, with compensation set between $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. For the right candidate, there is a strong opportunity to transition into reliable, ongoing work beyond the initial project. In addition, those who establish a long-term working relationship with our family will also enjoy a weekly homemade food stipend as part of their continued employment.
