Experienced Full-Time Housekeeper (Private Residence) (Germantown)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional, experienced, and highly organized full-time housekeeper for a private residence. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to follow structured cleaning schedules, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, and can manage daily and periodic housekeeping tasks with minimal supervision.

Structured Cleaning Schedule:
Daily Tasks:
⢠Wash dishes/load and unload dishwasher
⢠Clean kitchen surfaces, sink, range hood surfaces
⢠Make beds and tidy bedrooms
⢠Vacuum bathrooms and wipe down bathroom toilets and sink areas
⢠Dust and vacuum high-traffic areas
⢠Take out trash and recycling
⢠Laundry: washing, drying, folding, ironing (as needed)
⢠General tidying and organization
Weekly and Bi-Weekly Tasks:
⢠Deep clean bathrooms (showers, tubs, tiles, grout)
⢠Change and launder bed linens and towels
⢠Mop hard floors and deep vacuum carpets
⢠Dust furniture, light fixtures, and baseboards
⢠Vacuum and clean under furniture, behind bed headboard
⢠Clean kitchen appliances (inside microwave, fridge exterior, etc.)
⢠Clean patio, entry areas and Garage
⢠Wipe down interior doors and frames
⢠Dusting and wipe down blinds and windows
⢠Inspect and clean cleaning tools and restock household supplies
Monthly Tasks:
⢠Clean inside oven
⢠Dust ceiling fans and vents
⢠Organize pantry and kitchen cupboards
⢠Clean inside refrigerator and freezer
Semi-Annual Tasks:
⢠Assist with seasonal wardrobe rotation or decluttering and vacuum
⢠Vacuum, Wipe Clean out and organize storage spaces
⢠Wipe down living space interior walls
Additional Responsibilities:
⢠Run household errands (if required)
⢠Report any repairs or maintenance needs promptly
⢠Assist with meal preparation (as needed)
⢠Care for houseplants
Qualifications:
⢠Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in a private residence
⢠Excellent knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment
⢠Physically fit and able to perform duties efficiently
⢠Excellent references required
⢠High attention to detail and time management
⢠Discreet, reliable, and respectful of privacy
⢠Must learn and adapt to the homeownerâs specific cleaning processes within the first
month to ensure continuation of employment.
Work Schedule:
Full-time: 5-6 days per week, 1pm to 7 pm (Can Vary) Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, or extended hours.
Compensation & Benefits:
⢠Based on experience ranging from $13 -$14 /hour. Will be paid weekly by check. Need Social Security #
⢠If not driving, then we can share one way transport cost.
