Environmental Landscape Development is seeking a dedicated and skilled Master Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising, overseeing and enhancing the quality of the landscapes under our care, providing expert advice on plant care, garden design, and sustainable horticulture practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of California's native plants, climate, and soil conditions. This role involves working in various outdoor environments, utilizing both hand and power tools to maintain and enhance gardens, lawns, and other green spaces. Deep understanding of California’s climate, native plants, soil types, and environmental conditions. Expertise in integrated pest management, irrigation systems, and sustainable gardening practices. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Must be efficient in using basic electrical tools (Circular Saw, Reciprocating Saw, Jackhammer etc.), basic hand tools (Shovel Pick, Ax, etc.) and in operating basic gas powered tools (Chainsaw, Lawn Mowers, Edger, Blower, etc.) Dependability – Job requires being reliable, responsible, dependable, and accountable for fulfilling obligations. Attention to detail – Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
