We are a construction company in Oroville looking to hire a general laborer and a skilled laborer/journeyman. We are looking for people who are eager and willing to work, that are self-starters, have a good work ethic, can communicate, and show up on time. We mainly work in the Chico/Oroville area, but at times jobs will be outside of that and require further travel. For the general laborer position we require a driver's license and your own transportation. Having your own basic tools is a plus but not required. Some experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person so long as they are willing to work hard and learn. For the skilled/journeyman position we require a driver's license, your own transportation, and tools. We are looking for experienced individuals who can be on time, communicate with coworkers, boss, and customers. Someone who is self-starting and is knowledgeable in a variety of trades within the general construction scope (example: basic plumbing, framing, painting, drywall, basic electrical, flooring, and siding, etc) Pay is based on experience. Should be proficient at running excavator, loader dozers, compaction equipment as shooting grades/elevations, able to interpret plans, as well as setting up the laser for laying pipe. This is a Salary position 85K to 95K with company truck. • Main Line Excavator Operator- Experienced with excavating pipes to include sewer, water, and storm drain. Must be capable of excavating in a trench box and have extensive experience with installing utilities in a way that is compliant with OSHA Subpart P. Must be physically capable of performing all tasks typically associated with utility installation to include but not limited to standing for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, and able to climb ladders. This is an hourly position pay DOE $28-$32 per hour. • Backfill Excavator/Dozer Operator- Must have experienced backfilling behind a main line pipe to crew. Utility experience is required with sewer, water and storm pipe. Must be physically capable of performing all tasks typically associated with utility installation to include but not limited to standing for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, and able to climb ladders. This is an hourly position pay DOE $24-$28 per hour. • Lead Pipelayer- Experienced in installing sewer, water, and storm drain. We are looking for a turnkey pipelayer that can take the lead role in the trench.
