Our client, a major health system in downtown Miami is seeking a Risk Management Senior Manager for a long term contract position. The position is ON SITE, Monday-Friday 9a-5p paying $57.00 per hour. The Senior Manager, Risk Management implements and supervises the activities of risk management programs. Additionally, you will monitor and coordinate risk control, reduction, and prevention programs. Moreover, the incumbent strives to minimize the risk of injuries and adverse events to patients. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS 1. Investigates and analyzes the frequency and cause of patient injuries. 2. Directs the coordination and maintenance of the event reporting system (ERS), including systematic reviews of all event reports filed at the facility, to identify trends or patterns, and develop recommendations for appropriate corrective actions. 3. Provides and directs basic and complex preventive risk management assessment(s) of processes, procedures, and programs. 4.
