Your day as Field Service Engineer? That depends on where you wake up! We’ve got our installed base all the way from the Californian valleys up to the Great Lakes in the northeast. As our North American based Field Service Engineer you are ultimately responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning and evaluation of our service-related activities. With an installed base of more than 500 handling systems worldwide, including dozens in the US, Canada and Mexico, we continually receive requests for inspections, overhauls and modernizations. As soon as we have received an order for such a job, it is your turn. As a Field Service Engineer you have in-depth knowledge of Lan Handling systems. You are responsible for delivering service work according to specifications and in accordance with planning, budget and quality requirements. You enjoy visiting our customers; this way, you identify new opportunities that increase our service level. Advice on operation, maintenance and adjustments is displayed by you in accurate and detailed reports. While you are busy with a spare parts request after your inspection visit last week, you receive a call from the Head of Operations: in two months, we want to start the installation of a greenfield project.
