Job Description: As Soil & Feedstock Compliance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the inbound and outbound logistics of physical soil and feedstock samples from our large-scale commercial deployments. You will be directly involved in the handling, inventory management, and data entry of thousands of samples annually. This position requires a highly-organized individual who thrives in a warehouse/laboratory environment and is committed to maintaining meticulous records and systems. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Manage the receipt, opening, inventorying, labeling, and storage of inbound samples, ensuring they are readily accessible for future retrieval. Data Entry: Unpack boxes of samples, accurately enter their details into spreadsheets or databases, and organize them on shelves. Workorder Management: Generate new workorders for third-party analysis, manage the packaging, and oversee the shipping of samples to ensure timely Organization: Coordinate the inbound/outbound processing of large volumes of samples, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical Demands: Capably handle the physical requirements of the job, including the ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. Requirements Qualifications: This is a full-time position working on-site, 5-days a week in our Raleigh warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, complemented by work experience in either a lab or warehouse setting. As a seismologist at Applied Physics, you will conduct original research in seismology related to induced seismicity and reservoir geomechanics, working on geothermal energy, geologic carbon storage, waste fluid disposal, or unconventional oil and gas projects. Qualifications: PhD in Seismology, Geophysics, Earth Science, Data Science related to Geophysics, or related field Experience with high-performance computing, numerical earthquake simulation (e.g. dynamic rupture, cycle simulation), statistical and/or physics-based operational earthquake forecasting, and seismic hazard analysis Ability to formulate novel solutions related to understanding of the geomechanical behavior of subsurface reservoirs and the underlying physical processes leading to induced seismicity, and/or other seismology or geomechanical problems Experience with computer systems and modern programming languages (e.g. Python, C/C++, R, Java, shell scripting), Mac or PC, Unix or Linux platforms or other data management approaches Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented PLM Analyst with proven expertise in asbestos testing. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) analysis of bulk asbestos samples and have formal training or certification in the field. This is a dynamic position because of the diversity of pest management to be done by working with different kinds of chemicals and applying the chemicals for the right amount of time. Our operation includes Retail, Wholesale contractor’s yard, Wholesale Nursery growing and shipping nationwide. We are looking for an experienced, licensed applicator for our nursery. Applicant must be experienced with insecticide, fungicide and herbicide applications. Our crops are woody ornamentals, perennials, field and container grown. Ability to keep good records and have safe working habits. We have very good equipment, air blast sprayers, tank sprayers on tractors and trucks. The perfect applicant would have minimum of 3 years working in a nursery doing pesticide application. Spanish / English a plus. Compensation based on experience.
