Jedlicka’s is looking for a weekend person for customer service, sales and cashiering. We are a retail western wear & clothing store in Los Olivos California in the Santa Ynez Valley. We sell clothing, boots and hats for men, ladies and children. Bilingual is appreciated. We have clients that speak English, Spanish plus French and other languages as we have many visitors from around the world pass through. We also have a tack department and horse supplies including bridles, halters, fly sprays and supplements. Horse experience not required, but would certainly help in this sector of the store. Looking for full time help as well!

Expedite visitor entry, establish queuing lines, and help with crowd control in a customer friendly manner. Operate cash registers or point of sales terminals including handling the exchange of payments, maintaining a cash drawer, and completing daily paperwork. Facilitate operations of on-grounds paid experiences such as carousel, public animal encounters, and travelling exhibits. Promote and sell zoo products and experiences. Set-up, organize, and arrange any necessary equipment or program items. Support zoo policies in a professional manner. Ensure a safe environment for visitors, staff and volunteers; monitors key areas and entrances and reports safety concerns to a supervisor in a timely fashion. Communicate on-site issues or ideas for improvements regarding customer service, personnel, policy or other related areas. May be asked to participate in continuous improvement exercises for the unit. Maintain all assigned workspaces by keeping them clean and organized. Perform breaks if necessary and assists other Admissions units with related projects PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to speak a language in addition to English. QUALIFICATIONS One year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or one to two years of guest/customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Have strong cash handling skills. Ability to work a seasonal, non‐standard/flexible schedule, which may include weekends, evenings, holidays, and during special events.
