The Position Our bank client is seeking to fill a Sr. Credit Analyst role in the Portland, OR area. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the financial information of persons or companies to determine creditworthiness and performing ongoing monitoring of borrowers to assess the risk of default. The position includes a generous salary of up to $110K and an excellent benefits package. (This is not a remote position). Sr. Credit Analyst responsibilities include: Evaluating clients’ credit data and financial statements to determine the risk involved in lending money to them. Analyzing complex CRE/C&I commercial financial statements for deals up to $15 Million. Evaluating the financial status of clients by producing financial ratios using software tools. Preparing written reports summarizing the strengths and weaknesses of loan applicants and providing a recommendation to the approving officer or Senior Loan Committee. Performing annual covenant reviews and annual renewals for CRE and C&I commercial facilities. Recommending loan structures when appropriate. Other duties assigned. Requirements Who Are You? Experience with Sageworks, CashSuite, Bukers, Excel, Moodys, etc. Able to write complex credit analyses and presentations – defend to the Loan Committee. Familiar with complex commercial lending policies. Understanding of processes, policies, regulations, and rules is expected. Must demonstrate commercial credit acumen and analytical proficiency for CRE/C&I credits. Benefits The position includes a generous salary of up to $110K and an excellent benefits package.
