As a Soccer Stars Coach, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for soccer among young athletes while teaching them essential skills in a fun and engaging environment. Your responsibilities will include leading soccer sessions, ensuring the safety of all participants, and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. You will work with children of various ages 1-12 years old, creating an inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive and develop their soccer skills. This position requires a commitment to our mission of providing quality soccer education while making a positive impact on children's lives. Coaches will have flexible schedules, including weekday afternoons and weekend mornings, with opportunities to grow within our organization. Requirements Requirements: Experience working with children in a coaching or educational capacity. A strong passion for soccer and youth development. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. CPR/First Aid Certification (can be obtained during training). 4v4 Grassroots Certification (can be obtained during training). Must pass a background check. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 30 minutes for sessions. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development. New Coaches can work *5-25 classes a week and can earn from $18 per hr up to $22 per hr. We are currently looking for an athletic and "up beat" individual to become a dedicated member of our staff by providing outstanding officiating for our youth and adult flag football games. Our adult league participates in a 4 on 4 format while the youth league is 5 on 5. Both styles of play tend to be fast paced in nature, therefore any applicant should be prepared to move in a high tempo pace. Currently games are held in Schenley Park, Brentwood, Monroeville, Montour and McCandless with game days varying per season. Prior referee or stat keeper experience is not required, but highly preferred Availability Fall Season Mondays 8:00pm - 10:45pm Saturdays 10:00am - 3:00pm Sundays 12:00pm - 6:30pm Fridays 6:00pm - 10:00pm Spring Season Mondays 8:00pm - 10:45pm Saturdays 10:00am - 3:00pm Sundays 12:00pm - 6:30pm Fridays 6:00pm - 10:00pm Summer Season Tuesdays 6:00pm - 10:00pm Wednesdays 6:00pm - 10:00pm Thursdays 6:00pm - 10:00pm Professionalism, punctuality, and a willingness to assert control is what we are looking for. Special consideration will be given for former flag football players. Requirements 18yrs or older with reliable transportation. Excellent oral communication skills with a passion for working with children and/or adults in a sports setting. Be able to collaborate and consistently perform as a “team player” with other staff members. Willing to participate in on-field and classroom training.
