Description

Essel is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Foreman to join our team. In this role, you will supervise carpentry projects and lead a team of carpenters, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications. The Carpenter Foreman will be responsible for planning work schedules, managing resources, and maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Your leadership and experience will be key in driving project success while fostering a collaborative work environment. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry duties Review project plan and blueprints Estimate time, material, equipment, and supplies needed Track production rates of self-performed work Develop work schedules and crew assignments Develop and manage JHAs, ensure crews are working safely and properly trained Maintains records of operations Monitor inventories and request supplies and equipment Ensure work areas are properly maintained Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner Ensure carpentry jobs are completed in due time and ensure work is performed according to company standards Discipline, mentor, and monitor the performance of employees Coordinate and maintain crew safety, equipment, and tool training Complete other responsibilities as assigned Requirements Previous commercial construction experience required Detail-oriented Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment, Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend, or kneel while wearing a tool belt Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions Adhere to all OSHA and company safety practices and procedures Support activities at all company job sites as directed Display basic computer skills Benefits Industry Standard Benefits

We are looking for a Construction Carpenter to join our team in East Petersburg, PA! This role will report directly to the jobsite Foreman or Superintendent and requires strict adherence to all Warfel safety rules and regulations, including any site-specific necessities. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:00 AM through 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch. Occasional Saturday work and overtime may be required. Travel to and from the jobsite varies; reliable transportation is required. Requirements Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, HM door frames (knock down and welded), weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware.
