Warehouse Associate Reports to: Warehouse Manager Summary The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to assist the warehouse in storing and pulling items for projects; They will work in our warehouse preparing inventory to be delivered. This person will serve as the warehouse’s representative on all deliveries and move-ins, ensuring all items are properly tagged and packaged to be stored or deployed. They are also responsible for daily problem-solving activities in relation to inventory items. Position Requirements Serve as the main point of contact for the company’s warehouse team for all orders and deliveries to the warehouse and inventory items that are being returned to the warehouse once a project is completed. Send regular updates to respective designers regarding the status of their ordered or returned items. Answer any questions the design team or installation team has as they relate to items on order or received at the warehouse. Coordinate communication with the Warehouse Manager and the design team as it relates to shipping delays or orders that arrive with missing or damaged items or are damaged while pulling. Create and manage new inventory records, specifically items that return from a project and do not already have an ID. Use the inventory system to digitally confirm receipt of all ordered items. Ensure that all items either outgoing or incoming are properly labeled ensure that items are pulled, packaged, inspected, and loaded to await outgoing shipments, and, if applicable, that the inventory system reflects current positions. Ensure that all items are unpacked, inspected, checked in properly, and updated in the inventory system upon return from project or initial delivery. Assist the Warehouse Manager as directed. Update the inventory system with all status changes, notes, etc. as needed to ensure consistency and brand standards at the direction of the Warehouse Manager. Skills and Experience Must be eligible to work in the US 1-2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment. Experience with furniture and homeware industries preferred. Proven track record of consistency, detail-orientation, and follow-through. Proficient in inventory systems and Microsoft Excel. High School Degree, or equivalent, required. Addressing and resolving any trim issues or challenges that arise during the production process Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Requirements 5+ years of experience in the apparel fashion industry specifically in garment trim production.
