What the Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician role looks like: Perform onsite scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow up repairs to Class 6-8 trucks in a mobile/field environment.  Perform Emergency Road Service Calls.  Respond to call center dispatched scheduled and unscheduled service and maintenance requests.  Diagnose and repair various types of truck equipment including, but not limited to the following: Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Starters/Alternators, Air conditioning systems, Fan clutches, Engine electronics, Power steering systems, Engines (gas and diesel), Transmissions (manual and automatic), Clutches, Differentials, etc.  Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges.  Use basic hand tools, precision instruments, as well as power tools, welding equipment, and jacks.  Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.  Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most standard repair times.  Obtain parts from approved local and national vendors as necessary for the repairs to be performed.  Maintain company issued service truck, conduct safety checks and pre/post trip inspections.  Perform other duties as assigned. What our ideal candidate looks like: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Diesel Technician on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.  Proficiency in DOT inspections and air brake repairs.  Excellent verbal communication skills. As a Diesel Technician, you will provide accurate, efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers in a professional and accommodating manner. Our Technicians ensure we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came! St. Mary's Food Bank is currently seeking a HVAC/Facilities Maintenance Technician with Certifications along with facility maintenance basic knowledge. The HVAC/Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g., carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. This position assists the Facilities team with general maintenance, repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment, preventive maintenance and grounds keeping for all St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance Campuses. Hiring for the following shift: Tuesday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm and Saturday - 6am - 2:30pm (Sunday and Monday Off) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain, upkeep and repair of the property and grounds. Periodic inspections of all units, buildings, and common areas, performing repairs as needed. Event set ups and tear downs. Completing work order requests promptly and according to company policy. With Knowledge of items pertaining to Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, concrete, appliances, ETC. Work schedule flexibility required to include out of town, overtime, evenings, and weekends if necessary. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of wall repair and painting. Experience soldering copper pipe with propane torch. Knowledge of floor care products and equipment. The ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing fixtures, evaporative coolers and similar warehouse equipment as well as perform minor electrical repairs. Valid Arizona driver’s license. Good verbal and written communication skills. Have general working knowledge of basic construction and mechanical practices. Basic computer skills.
