Miller Transportation Group is immediately hiring a Diesel Refrigeration/Reefer Technician for our Miller Truck Leasing division in Newburgh or Brewster, NY.  With over 100 years of experience and upwards of 8,000 trucks on the road, Miller currently operates 40 Diesel Maintenance shops throughout KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH. Outstanding opportunity to join a family owned and operated business who is large enough to serve but small enough to care! Requirements You Will: Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 refrigeration vehicles Diagnose, document, and repair refrigeration equipment following proper warranty procedures. ThermoKing experience highly preferable You Have: 3 or more years experience working on a Refrigerated Units and/or have a valid 608 certification Strong diagnostic skills Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer Hand tools FLEXIBLE ON SCHEDULE: Split Shift, 2nd Shift, or 3rd Shift on Monday-Friday schedule OR 4 - "10" Hour Shifts, etc. Benefits Competitive compensation: $40-$50 per hour with minimum 5 years verifiable Reefer experience Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Car Allowance Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance with HRA, HSA, and FSA options 401(k) with a company provided match Company-paid life insurance Employee Discounts and an Employee Assistance Program If you are looking for a great, safe work environment, look no further.
