As a mission-driven organization, we are intensely focused on expanding access to services and developing new and more effective ways of delivering supports and services to individuals with a range of intellectual and developmental disabilities. - Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in a range of administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight. - Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals we serve in the program. - Provide support to individuals receiving services including: assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care. - Duties are split between providing direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision. - Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent. - One year related work experience. - Must be 18 years or older. - Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance. - Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority. - Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with team members and those we serve. - Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained. - This is a great opportunity to gain supervisory skills and experience while still directly making a difference in the lives of the people we serve on a daily basis. About Us Awaken Therapy Center is a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed mental health agency specializing in supporting neurodivergent individuals, couples, and families. We provide a collaborative, inclusive, and flexible environment where clinicians are encouraged to show up authentically while doing meaningful work. Our team is neurodiverse — including supervisors — and we pride ourselves on providing care that honors individuality and fosters growth. We support clients ages 12 and up and emphasize working with teens, neurodivergent coaching, and relationship dynamics through an affirming lens. Position Overview We are seeking a Part-Time Associate (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) or Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our team. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about working with neurodivergent teens, adults, couples, and families in both individual and relational contexts. Most sessions are conducted remotely, but the position requires the ability to work in-person at our Oakland office when needed, especially for teen clients who prefer in-person sessions. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time employment as your caseload builds. Key Responsibilities Provide individual therapy for teens and adults, with a strong focus on neurodivergent clients. Offer neurodivergent coaching and relationship support for individuals and couples. Conduct sessions both remotely and occasionally in-person at the Oakland office. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation with the support of an integrated AI note-taking system. Collaborate closely with a neuroaffirming, multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and case consultations.
