We encourage you to visit the details of the role by watching the video available at the following link: Medical Records Technician   Our Medical Records Technicians receive company-provided laptops and portable scanners to travel to various medical facilities and hospitals for scanning patient medical records.   Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain a record system for patient information and gathering documents. Use electronic systems to properly collect, organize, and manage data. Ensure medical records are organized, accurate, and complete. Create digital copies of paperwork and store records electronically. File paperwork/reports quickly and accurately. Ensure HIPAA standards are met. Follow all confidentiality guidelines, rules, and procedures. Interact with medical staff, healthcare providers, and other medical personnel. Additional Good-to-Have Qualifications: Previous work experience in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital, clinic, or medical office dealing with medical charts. Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) / EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc. Intermediate knowledge of medical chart structure, content, and medical terminologies. Familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication. Ability to operate and troubleshoot common issues with printers and scanners. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals. Requirements Must-Have Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record. Have a car and active insurance in their name (Candidates must provide registration documentation). Willing to drive up to 60-80 miles or more (round-trip). Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Internet access at home. Basic PC and office equipment skills. Applicants must be available from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm respective time zone to visit required facilities. Pay Rate: $18-$21 per hour or $3 per record, whichever is higher Paid semi-monthly based on total hours worked or total records retrieved during the work period (whichever is higher). Paid mileage, reimbursement for some travel expenses, paid $50 (daily) Food Allowance, when traveling out of state & paid Flight + Hotel + Rental (if required).   This is a part-time, seasonal position, with the potential for extension based on project requirements and needs

What you will be doing: •Provides professional, highly technical cardiovascular care to all cardiovascular patients, while assisting physicians during all cardiovascular procedures.  Functions as a liaison for patients, families, and physicians.  Assists the physician in the operation of technical equipment utilized during all procedures. •Assists with setting up cardiac cath lab procedure rooms by providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment. •Knowledge of equipment utilized in procedures, pressure monitoring, cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, EKG interpretation, sterile technique, and radiation safety practices. •Proficient in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring for all Cath Lab procedures. •Inspects and prepares operative area as necessary. •Communicates relevant procedural information to physician and ancillary personnel. •Observes sterile technique and proper disposal of infected materials. •Records EKG information, samples and records pressure tracings, and informs appropriate personnel of changes during procedure.  Maintains complete documentation of cardiovascular procedures.  Ensures completion of all registry abstracts. We have an urgent need for a full time MRI Technologist at the Naval Medical Center, Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.  $5,000 sign on bonus available for this opportunity!! The duties include, but are not limited to the following: Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures/services as appropriate to the TO. Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures in accordance with Radiology Department policies and procedures. Send appropriate image series to the radiologist for reading according to MTF protocol. Correctly position the patient for the examination and make technical adjustments necessary for the required examination. Determine if any special patient preparation is required. Process digital images and submit for interpretation by radiologists. Document all procedures and maintain records in accordance with MTF policy. As directed, perform system calibrations and quality control tasks according to the manufacturer and MTF policy. Recognize artifacts and equipment errors and notify designated Government personnel of outlying values. Initiate repair call procedures for equipment malfunctions by notifying designated Government personnel. Report problems to the Biomedical Repair Section and record the problem condition in the trouble call log book. Observe and report to the radiologist any symptoms which have direct bearing on the patient's condition as a result of adverse reaction to contrast media and inform the radiologist of any condition requiring his/her attention. Recognize the need for and institute the necessary emergency measures for situations where a person requires resuscitation procedures due to cardiac or respiratory arrest. Work Schedule: Sunday - Saturday, 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts, 7a-7p or 7p-7a, not to exceed 80 hours every 2 weeks NO CALL!  Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Education:  Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
