Portsmouth Dental Care is a busy, multi-doctor dental practice open 7 days a week. We are looking for a Lead Front Office Coordinator to join our team and take ownership of front office operations. This is a leadership position that requires strong organizational skills, accountability, and the ability to guide a team in providing excellent patient service. Responsibilities: Oversee front office operations, ensuring smooth patient check-in, check-out, and scheduling Lead and support the front office team with training, communication, and accountability Appointment scheduling efficiency Co-pay and patient balance collections Insurance verification and claim follow-ups Accounts receivable management Proactively manage the schedule to reduce no-shows and fill open time Serve as the point of contact between front office staff and General Manager Assist with hiring and onboarding. Qualifications: Minimum 2–3 years dental front office experience required Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and scheduling software (Open Dental experience a plus) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Professional, reliable, and team-oriented Why Join Us?
