Direct Care Worker (Tucson)

The Industrial Paint Coater is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying industrial-grade paints and coatings to a variety of materials such as metal, concrete, or manufactured components. The role requires knowledge of coating techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, or blasting to ensure proper coating adhesion. • Mix and apply coatings such as primers, enamels, epoxies, or powder coatings using various methods (spray, brush, or roller). • Set up and operate spray guns, booths, and other painting equipment. • Monitor environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity) to ensure quality application. • Inspect finished products for uniformity, thickness, color, and adherence to specifications. • Perform minor maintenance on painting equipment and ensure tools are cleaned and stored properly. • Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations, including the use of PPE and safe handling of hazardous materials. • Document coating processes, materials used, and production data accurately. • Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and production teams to meet project deadlines.
