Dental Assistant (FLORENCE)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional dental care. Experience Preferred but not required! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, with experience in various specialties including cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and Implants. However, we are willing to offer on the job training for the right candidate. We are just looking for caring, people-oriented, team player type of person. Professional and attention to detail is key. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Wage will be determined on experience. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office. Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations. Requirements: Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft is preferred. Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health, including knowledge of general dentistry practices. Ability to take X-rays and understand radiographic techniques. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction. Ability to maintain organized medical records and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Job Type: Part-time- Monday thru Thursday 8am to 5pm and 2-3 hours One Friday a Month.
