Description

Searching for an experienced respite caregiver and social recreation assistant for my 10-year old son with autism. The job requires someone who has a positive personality, is physically active, a male or a female, and preferably living close to Corona in Riverside County. Respite and social recreation are sometimes done in our house and pool, but very often outdoors like the beach, the trampoline park, walks around the neighborhood, hiking, school events, birthday parties, etc. Main responsibilities include assistance with personal safety, assistance with personal hygiene, guidance during meals, preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping as needed. The pay is $29.50 per hour, and the job is part time ranging from 50 to 100 hours per month depending on your availability and your willingness to pick up cancelled shifts from other caregivers. Most shifts are in the evenings Monday to Friday and all hours on Saturdays and Sundays. To apply, please e-mail your resume or a detailed description of your experience and the days and times you would be available to work. Please don't send e-mails with "I'm interested" and nothing else there as those will be ignored. Once selected, you will be invited to interview in person as soon as possible. If hired, you will also need to pass a background scan at your expense. Any questions please reply to this ad. Thank you for applying.
