Adult Family Home in Auburn is looking for a Weekend Caregiver (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY)that is a self-motivated, team player to assist day to day care for our residents . The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently as well as with others. We are looking for someone who is organized, punctual, and willing to learn. This position is for someone professional , kindhearted, self motivated and gentle nurtured that possesses excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work duties. MUST HAVE ABILITY TO LIFT AND PIVOT TRANSFER. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH HOTER LIFT. Applicant must have the following certifications: NAC/HCA Dementia and Mental Health Nurse Delegation including diabetes CPR/1st Aid Food Handlers card 2-step TB test The ability to pass a Federal Background Check and finger prints without criminal history. The ability to give 2 viable, positive business references. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Duties : Preparing Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner based on diet orders Assisting residents with ADLs including Dressing, Toileting, Bathing, Etc Meeting needs of residents with Dementia/Alzheimer's Proper techniques for lifting, transferring Administering medication as prescribed House Keeping And other care-giving duties as assigned Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
