Located in East Meadow, NY, NUMC delivers high-quality, compassionate care across a full spectrum of medical specialties and maintains strong academic affiliations with leading medical schools. The Clerical Billing Specialist provides administrative and clerical support for physician billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate data entry, record management, and communication. Key Responsibilities: Perform patient registration and eligibility verification. Generate and send patient statements. Maintain accurate patient account files. Assist with claim preparation and documentation requests. Answer inbound calls from patients and insurance providers; conduct outbound calls as needed for AR follow-up. Requirements Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred) Experience: 2+ years of clerical or billing office experience in a healthcare setting.
