Experienced Dental Assistant (Sellersburg, IN)

Key Responsibilities ● Assist the dentist with a wide range of dental procedures ● Prepare treatment rooms to reflect our high standards of cleanliness, organization and comfort ● Take digital X-rays and operate digital scanning equipment ● Maintain strict compliance with infection control, sterilization, and OSHA protocols ● Educate and reassure patients throughout their visit with clear, compassionate communication ● Accurately document patient information and treatment notes using dental practice software ● Maintain dental supply inventory and ensure operatories are fully stocked and organized ● Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and a positive team culture ● Stay engaged in ongoing learning and actively seek opportunities to expand your clinical skills What We’re Looking For ● At least 2 years of experience in a dental office setting is required ● Dental Assistant Certification (EDDA/EFDA), Radiography, Coronal Polishing certifications in Indiana preferred or must obtain Indiana Radiography certification within 30 days of hire and Indiana Coronal Polishing & Fluoride Application within 90 days of hire ● Experience with dental practice software (for example Dentrix and Eaglesoft; knowledge of CareStack is a plus) ● Warm, professional communication skills with a patient-first mindset ● Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management ● A strong desire to grow professionally and stay current with dental best practices ● Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with our spa-like office environment ● A positive attitude and a strong team spirit What We Offer ● A beautifully designed spa-inspired practice that supports wellness, calm and focus ● A collaborative team environment where you ● Competitive pay based on experience and obtaining proper certifications ● A typical work week is 28-32 hours per week ● A collaborative team environment where your contributions valued ● Advanced training, mentorship and continuing education opportunities ● Competitive Hourly Compensation: $18-24/hr depending on experience and certifications ● A culture where your contributions are seen, valued and celebrated If you’re an experienced dental assistant who values professionalism, compassion and growth we’d love to meet you.
