Nightclub Door Greeter/Host at Popular and Iconic San Francisco Live Music Club Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Greeter/ Doorperson/Security to join our team. General Description: Must be available evenings from 6pm til 3am Prior Nightclub experience preferred but not required Must be Friendly with excellent customer service skills Must be able to work hard and stay positive under pressure Organized, Punctual, Consistent Multi task, Able to lift at least 50 pounds You Are a team player with a great attitude You love live music and interacting with the public DUTIES: Help in arranging the tables and chairs. Getting Ice for bar at beginning of shift. Set up the stanchions and velvet ropes at entrance to the club Check and verify identification of Clients to insure they are over 21 years of age Greet customers and admit them into the club. Maintain order inside and outside of the club. Help in promoting the business to passers by as well as to our patrons attending our events. Keep accurate records of numbers of attendees. Wipe down tables and chairs and assist other staff in closing out the club at the end of the evening. Dress to Impress (show your style/ represent the face of the club with your personality and charm) QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years or older Must be able to read and speak English Serve members in a friendly and professional manner - and smile (after all you are providing service and good times to our guests - have fun with it.) Show up to work well groomed and in Proper (all black) attire. Must be able to follow instructions and take directions. Promote the bar both inside and outside of work.
