Currently hiring two candidates at a restaurant in downtown Grand Rapids. Employees must have availability to work Monday-Friday lunchtime shift 10:30-3pm. We are also hiring for the evening shift, but morning is the current priority. Candidate must be hard working, a quick learner, and able to work well in a fast paced environment. This job is heavily team based, meaning working and communicating with others appropriately is a requirement. Work includes: be able to memorize the full menu, which consists of salads, wraps, rice bowls, and appetizers. You will learn to take orders on our register system, make food orders, and send/bag them up for customer pick-up. Prep work is required, such as folding bread, filling up sauces/dressings, and restocking our food line. Cleaning tasks like sweeping, wiping off tables, and keeping the main food line clean are also some of the main components of this job.
