Catering kitchen is seeking an experienced line cook. Ideal Candidates have experience on the grill, fryer, sauté and salad stations. Minimum 2 years experience in a high volume kitchen. Full time and part time available. Morning, afternoon and weekend shifts. Health Insurance available after 90 days for full-time employees. Experience is a consideration in negotiation of pay rate. Based on experience: $22.00-$24.00 hourly Job Description: -Set up and maintain food stations. -Cook daily menu items with the head chef and rest of the kitchen staff. -Follow proper cooking techniques for all dishes. -Ensure food quality and timeliness. -Have a positive and hard working attitude. -Comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards and regulations. What we are looking for: -Line Cook with at least 2+ years experience. -Knowledge and experience with Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican as well as vegan style cooking. -Ability to multi-task and work under pressure. -Accuracy and speed with completing assigned tasks. -Teamwork is very important. -Be willing to help and assist others in a teamwork environment. -Report to your chef at beginning and end of each day. -Available to work mornings and weekends.
