Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and kitchen operations, with the ability to prepare meals, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to food safety standards. Duties -Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu plans. -Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for special dietary needs. -Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. -Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. -Support the culinary team in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking. -Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering as needed. -Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods. -Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests. Requirements -Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. -Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques. -Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. -Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable. -Proficient knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure. -Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus. -Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. -A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering quality service.
