We are looking for high-energy, hard working dishwashers with attention to detail to join our Smokin J’s BBQ team! BENEFITS: - Health Insurance (we pay half!!) - CalSavers retirement plan - Paid Sick Leave (40 hours/year after 90 days employment) - Discounted food and beverage during shift - ALL POSITIONS, including cooks and dishwashers, participate in TIP POOL which adds $5-8/hour!!!!! REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS: - Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and certain holidays. - Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. - Must be able to bend, stoop, reach above your head and do repetitive hand movements, i.e. chopping, cutting, walking, - lifting. - Required to wear proper attire. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ DISH POSITION: This is a part-time or full-time position, 25-35 hours/week. We are looking for dishwashers who work fast with strong attention to detail, with a willingness to help with prep tasks (for FOH and BOH) and an interest to learn and develop into a position with more BOH responsibilities. The kitchen is friendly, but the standards are high. You will be responsible for keeping cleanliness and sanitation of all dish ware, cookware, walkins, equipment, bathrooms, and floors. Be able to follow a weekly cleaning list, and willing to help with some prep for front of house and back of house during down time. Dishwashers are expected to clean before, during, and after shifts and maintain spotless workstations. - Assumes 100% responsibility for the quality, food safety/sanitation - Responsible for knowing and understanding safety guidelines, sanitation guidelines, and will be required to obtain Food - Handlers Certification. - Can work with necessary restaurant equipment safely and with care - Shows up when scheduled all the time - Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and contributes to cleanliness of all parts of the kitchen to ensure smooth service and sanitation guidelines - Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly in accordance with health department standards - Closes the dish pit properly, opens dish pit properly, follows lists made and adds to them when necessary PAY FOR DISHWASHERS: Dishwashers can expect to make $23.25-$25.25/hr ($17.25/hr + tips, which range from $6-$8/hr). This event brought in over 21,000 people Long Hill in 2024.      The Signature Events Steward reports to the Property Director and works closely with the Beverly Stewardship Manager and North Shore Senior Regional Engagement Manager, supporting stewardship projects and visitor services that relate to Halloween on the Hill at Long Hill in Beverly, MA. The setup for the event will start in early to mid-August. The event runs from October 3- October 30 followed by the breakdown which will take 2 – 3 weeks in November.  Halloween on the Hill is open to the public, Wednesday – Sunday, 5:30 – 8:30 PM, (3:30 – 8:30 on Fridays).
