About the position: We are looking for individuals who are willing to work in a high paced, fun and team friendly environment. While experience is preferred, it's not necessary as we can train. What this position would require is a strong work ethic and a sense of pride in doing your job as well as the willingness to learn and be hands on. We have 6:30am opening shifts, mid shifts and evening shifts until 11pm available, part time and full time available. Candidates must be 18 to sell alcohol Your duties: Provide amazing customer service to every guest. Operate a cash register & POS system Opening duties Help stock the store. Be punctual, neat and tidy in appearance for every shift. Work alongside a small team of other baristas, bartenders and servers with mutual respect for one another. Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Full-Time Baker, responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of baked goods for daily meals and special events at The Governor's Academy, a prestigious independent day and boarding school located in Byfield, MA. Full Time Day Shift $20.00-$26.00 Per Hour; depending on experience What the Baker will do: Ensure quality and timeliness of food production, using batch-cooking methods to maintain the quality and freshness of the product. Use traditional, made-from-scratch preparation methods and keep accurate production logs. Ensuring that the daily bakery range is made to a high standard in a timely, safe, and consistent manner. Prepare doughs, fillings, batters, icings, and other components by measuring or weighing ingredients using graduated containers or scales to ensure uniformity. Use tools such as hand mixers, electric mixers, and cooking machinery to blend together ingredients to create high-quality baked goods. Cook prepared baked goods in ovens or on grills as needed, using molds, pans, or sheets, depending on the proper baking technique for the item. Decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods, including custom-made decorations for birthdays, weddings, and other special events. Work collaboratively alongside other production staff to incorporate key ingredients/products into recipe and menu offerings on a daily basis Will assist in the production of some savory foods, including some composed and bound salads and other items as needed Assist in maintaining quality and performing tasks quickly and efficiently Adhere to food safety, sanitation standards, and all HACCP recordings   What the Baker will need: Culinary Degree or a minimum of 4 years of bakery experience preferred Minimum 2 years of experience with high-volume food service operations, preferably in school environments.
