What You’ll Do Lead the kitchen: Oversee prep, ordering, production, and execution with consistency, efficiency, and unwavering quality. Manage the team: Supervise 20+ employees, including scheduling, payroll, and daily coaching to maintain a positive, high-performing workplace. Operate with balance: Seamlessly manage both FOH and BOH responsibilities in a hands-on leadership role. Run the show: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a high-volume, 12–15 seat taco counter setting with heavy takeout and delivery. Drive growth: Take ownership of sales performance, foster guest loyalty, and build strong neighborhood and tourist repeat business. Maintain standards: Ensure compliance with food safety and operational guidelines while streamlining paperwork and systems. Inspire by example: Deliver a guest-first, team-oriented culture rooted in hospitality and authentic Mexican cuisine. What We’re Looking For Proven expertise in Mexican cuisine and tacos Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, ordering, COGS management, and payroll oversight. Bilingual in Spanish and English—essential to connect with both the team and diverse guests. Experience thriving in small, high-volume restaurants where every detail counts. Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and positive leadership style. Commitment to a balanced schedule of 45–50 hours per week (with genuine work-life balance built in). Compensation & Benefits Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 Profit Sharing / Bonus Opportunities: up to 10% annually Healthcare Credit: $5,000 annually, added to payroll, allowing flexibility for marketplace coverage.
