Position Objective: Assist with basic kitchen tasks, customer service, keeping the place clean and well-organized, ensuring a positive experience at the taqueria Candidate Profile: Experience in restaurants, cafeterias, or taquerias (desirable) Responsible, punctual, with good attitude and willingness to work in a team Possess leadership skills, speed, multitasking ability focused on service, organization, and effective communication Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends, high-volume environment English required (Spanish is a plus) Provide general team support as needed Responsibilities: Support / Kitchen Area Cut lemons and other basic ingredients Cut papers for tacos Complete the assembly and preparation of tacos before handing them out Assist with quick and simple kitchen tasks Customer Service Greet customers kindly and take orders Ensure correct order delivery Answer questions and provide menu recommendations Handle cash, card, or POS system payments Cleaning and Organization Keep service area, tables, and stations clean and organized Restock basic supplies (napkins, lemons, sauces, etc.) Take out trash and comply with hygiene standards Branch Management Supervise proper branch operations Coordinate staff schedules and attendance Assist with supplier orders and inventory control Report incidents and sales to the owner Will report directly to the owner Constant coordination with taqueros, tortillera, and kitchen staff Frequent contact with customers and suppliers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Maintain a clean kitchen and keep the dish area organized and free of clutter • Set up dishwashing stations, including dish machines and sinks • Ensure floors are clean and dry throughout your shift • Wash, stack and store glassware, silverware, cookware and storage containers properly • Change water in machines and sinks every two hours, or more frequently as needed, while correctly using chemical dilutions • Assist with timely storage of food deliveries • Maintain trash cans during your shift and remove full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift • Organize the dry storage area and keep storage shelves dry • Follow the posted daily dish cleaning duties • Support the chefs with any additional tasks required • Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds for distances of up to 50 feet and to manipulate them from heights which may require the use of a footstool. Skills and Qualifications • Experience in a similar role is helpful but not required • Team-service experience is strongly recommended. • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and the ability to work in teams. *Must have or be willing to obtain food certification. We need someone who’s worked a real coffee station, knows the flow of a packed service line, and understands the importance of timing, presentation, and consistency. Prep: slicing tomatoes, dicing celery, zesting lemons, using meat slicer etc, mixing up delicious spreads Assemble: following the recipes for each sandwich Package: wrap each sandwich in wax paper according to our aesthetic and pack out for bulk delivery. No customer interaction which is a plus for some people! Just the sandwich team getting in the zone. Same menu and quantity every day.
