Short Notice Restaurant is an eclectic small plates restaurant in Randolph. We’re looking for someone to help with our kitchen operations. You will be working alongside the Chef to execute a largely from-scratch seasonally oriented menu that rotates regularly. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of kitchen work. You must have the ability to regularly learn new dishes, understand portion control, and present clean attractive plates. If you’re excited to cook new items and collaborate on menu ideas and development this might be a good fit. Daily responsibilities: Pre service prep Line cooking Ability to self-manage at times Clear communication skills Willingness to assist others General kitchen cleaning Some dish washing Ability to be on your feet for a full 8 hour shift Ability to lift 50 lbs The schedule is generally 2-10pm, Wednesday-Sunday. Pay will be salary and depend on the candidate's experience. No more than 80 hrs per pay period - guaranteed. The position includes roughly 4 weeks of time off per year. Ideally candidates will have 3+ years kitchen experience.

Ability to perform intermediate shop math skills and calculations: fraction conversions, divide, multiply, percentages, etc. Basic computer skills required to perform inquiry, data collection or input. Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed.   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a CNC related field - set up experience preferred. Ability to quickly use the control panel to do offsets and edits on 2-3 of the FMS machinery.
