About the Role The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. Position Responsibilities Delivers completed cuisine to designated tables Supports wait staff by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require Serves all customers according to established standards of quality Have knowledge of appropriate garnishes and sauces for each plate. Have full knowledge of table numbers, seat numbers and sections of the restaurant. Perform final quality check of all plates before delivery. Deliver all food items to the correct table in a timely manner. Know pivot points and seat numbers to deliver food without “auctioning” food. Provide guests with any items they request to complete their meal. Communicate with service staff/management any requests you cannot provide. Communicate with kitchen/management regarding any food related issues brought to your attention by the guest. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned Essential Functions Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Night Managers (NM) are supervisors, coaches, and detailed (white glove) inspectors. Your first priority will be to ensure all scopes of work are executed in the buildings you are responsible for. you do this by meeting with crew supervisor (IC) and reviewing the scope, providing building"s specific details, communicating complaints and requests, confirming (with photos) that complaints and requests are resolved, managing crews who are completing nighttime projects like floor work, and completing administrative tasks like sending nightly inspection recaps and closing out tasks in the company software. You will be also responsible for: Maintaining and organized set of keys or key cards for your buildings Answering all phone calls from clients and crews from start of your shift at 4pm until the end of your shift. Ensuring all crews work in the company dress code and use only approved, commercial grade equipment and chemicals. Working with the crews from start to finish the first 3 nights of any new account stat to ensure they planned the right amount of labor, task work appropriately, and complete the full assigned scope. Requirements Working hours: Your typical shift will run from 6:00pm - 2:30am Reliable transportation to travel between accounts across the Hampton Roads market to complete nightly routes. Janitorial and handyman experience are a plus. High school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry. Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement.
