Hi! I'm a farmers' marketer (I pick up the farm truck, drive to market, set up the stall, sell the fruits and veggies, break down the stall, drive back and unload) for a 100% certified organic produce vendor out of Santa Barbara County. We need you as the honest, open, communicative, able-bodied, reliable, kind, playful, sociable, silly, charming, sweet-hearted, joy-to-be-around, thoughtful, sincere, earnest-working, and overall awesome helper that you are, to come on board and join us in tending a beautiful, bountiful, vibrant, and rewarding stall to be involved with at the farmers' market. You are someone dependable who is interested in committing to this every Saturday. We are a vendor in the Torrance Certified Farmers' Market. If this sounds like it could be a good fit for you, please send me your cover letter and resume and reach out via phone, text, or email. You will need to meet me at Charles H. Wilson Park, 2200 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance, CA 90501 on Saturdays prepared for a day that will look something like this: 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Setting up (this start time approaches 6:00 a.m. as you become more familiar with setting up) 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Market hours (selling, restocking, organizing, etc.) 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Packing up (this time approaches 2:00 pm as you become more proficient breaking down) The pay is $150 cash, all the organic produce you can eat from our stand, and trades with other vendors.
