We are seeking a Kitchen Manager!! We need someone with: 2+ years kitchen experience 1+ year of management experience Food Handlers Card Reliable Transportation flexible availability The Manager is responsible for ensuring that customers have a great experience by creating a work flow that ensures consistent product and presentation. They must ensure all staff provides high level customer service. They work closely with owners to implement customer service policies and hire employees who reflect company values. Their job is to oversee smooth operations during service by scheduling all positions needed to achieve a good work flow, including weekends. Mangers are responsible for adhering to labor budgets, placing orders for products and supplies or helping staff complete their job duties during understaffed shifts If you have the above experience then you already have a great idea of what is expected Manager Responsibilities: Managing crew performance and productivity Must work a minimum of 35 hours a week. TOR must be coordinated and approved. Ordering/Shopping for all business supplies for location consistently Monitoring inventory levels, understanding product use (weekly/monthly/seasonally) Shop according to need, i.e. not running out and maintaining consistent shopping days. Making sure all products are stored correctly and in compliance with food regulations Managing all money drops (making sure all drops are correct and documenting issues) Making sure the change bag has an appropriate amount of change for daily operation Hiring and Terminations of all staff Communicating with owners when new staff is needed or when staff puts in notice or resigns. Scheduling employees, posting schedule within appropriate time frame for employees Ensuring enough coverage while staying within an appropriate cost-effective labor range Finding crew members' individual strengths and weaknesses. Work with staff or schedule Shift Leads to assist with training to improve areas for improvement. Making sure all employee paperwork is up to date and in cart (food handler cards) Have systems in place to keep kitchen clean and operational at all times Maintain all standards of cooking and safety Developing effective training methods to increase productivity Ensure staff plating and portions are correct and the quality is up to standard Following all restaurant protocol as instructed by owners Work to make production and use of space as efficient as possible Responsible for execution of food/event specials. Ensure staff are trained properly on Special. About the job: - Must be able to lift at least 50+ pound bags of dry goods like cane sugar, flour, nuts etc. - Must be capable of being on your feet for 8 hour shifts (outside of break periods). - Part time, 24 hours, 3 days a week: Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 am - 3 pm. - Pay starts at $18/hour plus tips. Hourly tips earned are about an additional $10/hour on top of your hourly wage.
