Job Description: Substitute teachers carry out the daily educational program when a teacher is absent. As a substitute teacher, you will have an opportunity to amplify and develop your teaching expertise, provide a great learning experience for students and become an integral part of the school’s educational team! This position follows and teaches lesson plans, aids students in understanding subject matter, and ensures that regular classroom routines are followed. Responsibilities: Administer day to day lesson plan and provide quality instruction of classroom Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration Perform additional duties as directed by school administration Qualifications: No previous experience or certification required. Who You Are: Our ideal candidate will have cafe / restaurant management experience and a bachelor's or master's degree in education, psychology, counseling, nursing, social work, behavioral medicine, speech & language, rehabilitation, marriage and family therapy, or a comparable human services field. Ideally our candidate would have experience working with disabled individuals and a passion for mentoring young adults in a supportive environment. What You'll Do: This role combines hands-on cafe management with vocational training. The Cafe Manager will oversee daily operation of the cafe, ensuring high-quality service, and working closely with the Head of Vocational Programs to teach our students essential skills for working in a cafe setting.
